How it works
Three steps. For my first three clients, you don’t pay anything until step 3, and only if you say yes.
Step 1: We talk for 15 minutes
On the phone, on FaceTime or in person. You tell me what customers ask you most, and I ask a few questions about how you’d like the site to work.
What to have handy
- Your menu or list of services, with prices if you show them
- Your hours, including holiday hours
- The towns you serve (for lawn, snow and the trades)
- Any photos you like. Phone photos are fine.
- Your logo, if you have one
- Your current website, if you have one
Step 2: I build your real site
I build the whole thing: your pages, your menu or services, your hours, your phone number and directions. It’s made to read well on a phone first, because that’s where a lot of your customers will find you. You get a private link to look at it on your own phone. I aim to have it ready about a week after I have your info.
Step 3: You decide
Look it over. Tell me what to change and I’ll change it. When you’re happy, say yes and we go live on your own web address. If it’s not for you: founding clients owe nothing. On the Local and Contractors plans, you skip the second half and the site doesn’t launch (see Refunds and cancelling).
Going live
- Your domain is registered in your name, or I point the one you already have at your new site
- Founding clients: your first $49 is due the day your site goes live
After you’re live
Each week, text or email me your specials or news by Thursday noon and I’ll put them up.
If your hours change or a holiday’s coming, tell me. I’ll update the site so it matches your Google listing.
Need something else? Up to 30 minutes of changes a month is included. Most changes are just a text. Bigger ones, we go over face to face, in person or on FaceTime.
Call or text me anytime. You get me, not a call center.
